A Cosmic First-Person Horror Adventure

The Alien Cube is the Lovecraftian spiritual successor to The Land of Pain, developed by indie creator Alessandro Guzzo. You play Arthur, a lonely man whose life will change drastically after his uncle Edgar, the protagonist from The Land of Pain, disappears and strange events occur. Tormented by nightmarish visions, you must seek out the truth about what happened to Edgar and the occult world he was involved in and survive the darkness that haunts you too.

A Lovecraftian Adventure

Heavily influenced by H.P. Lovecraft’s stories, particularly his short tales From Beyond and The Colour Out of Space, embark on a journey of disturbing discovery through otherworldly places where dark nightmares, cosmic horrors, and dreadful visions await.

Investigate and Survive

The Alien Cube presents tense and terrifying investigation and survival gameplay throughout. To solve the mystery, you must seek out clues, solve puzzles, and survive hostile weather conditions and horrifying locations, from snowy mountains to forgotten dungeons.

Immersive Visuals and Sound

Photogrammetry technology combines with CRYENGINE’s renowned graphical power to produce beautiful visuals and immerse you in the game. An absorbing soundtrack further engages players in a true Lovecraftian experience.

A Solo Development

The Alien Cube is the second game by one-person-development team Alessandro Guzzo. It is yet another powerful demonstration of how CRYENGINE can help even a solo creator achieve their vision.
