CRYENGINE-powered American Civil War game War of Rights reaches Kickstarter funding goal
Indie developer Campfire Games has reached their Kickstarter funding goal for American Civil War game War of Rights. War of Rights, powered by CRYENGINE, is aiming to be the most historically accurate game about the American Civil War to date, and has been in development for three years. Based in Denmark, Campfire Games’ goal is to entertain and educate players as they form companies and head into combat.
Set during the Maryland campaign of 1862, vast, iconic battlefields are brought to life with close to 1:1 scale. Gamers will deploy authentic tactics, and use weapons and equipment recreated with stunning historical detail and realistic actions. Players will play through key moments of the nation-defining war, including the Battle of South Mountain, the Battle of Antietam and the Battle of Harpers Ferry.
Gamers can read more information about War of Rights on Kickstarter and have until Saturday, November 14th, 10:00pm CET, to back the project.
