Afternoon fellow Crydevs! Today we'd like to share with you an update to a very promising project by Crydev user faith113. Project Crynosaurs aims to put the player into a realistic, vibrant open-world ecosystem portrayed as accurately as possible in accordance with what is known about the age of the dinosaurs, around 66 million years ago. The main goal, of course, remains simple - to put dinosaurs in CryEngine 3. The most interesting part of the project is that it puts the player into the shoes (or claws) of a dinosaur tasked with surviving and thriving in the dangerous ancient ecosystem teeming with life, prey and predators.

The small media update we are showcasing today features a few screenshots and a work-in-progress animation video of a triceratops. In addition, about a month ago, the team released a small tech demo to give us an idea of what we're going for.

The team is also currently recruiting talent for the effort, so if you're interested in helping out, head over to their recruitment thread on our forum. As always, don't forget to check out the update thread and leave some feedback. That's all for this brief post - thanks for reading!
