Our panel has selected three awesome games achieved with CRYENGINE from 2018, but there can only be one winner…
As we head into 2019, we decided it was a great time to take a look back at some of the awesome indie games developed on CRYENGINE from last year. A panel selected from our CRYENGINE team picked out a shortlist of games that were released during 2018, from a field of fantastic work. To keep things fair, no early access games were considered for entry. If you want to take a peek at the nominees & the winner of last year; Aporia: Beyond the Valley, just check them out, here.
The nominees are below, and it’s down to you, our fellow CryENGINEERS, to select your favorite. As thanks, there isn’t just a prize for the winner, but also the chance to win a prize for everyone who votes; as we will raffle game keys among everyone who comments & votes for their favorite. Congratulations to all of our nominees, and without further ado, the games in the running are:
Miscreated is an open-world online hardcore survival game. Humanity has been brought to its knees after a devastating war. The remaining survivors face an unforgiving, post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a mutant plague. Can you survive this exhilarating online multiplayer experience?
ShadowSide is a mysterious exploration game featuring a highly interactive environment, beautiful graphics, and a story with multiple endings. The game follows the adventures of a police officer called Alex, whose mundane life is turned upside down by a terrifying event... get ready for plot twists!
UAYEB is a single-player, story-driven adventure and puzzle game, with survival and crafting elements. You’ll take on the role of a former game developer lost in a forgotten land reclaimed by nature. With the help of your friend Joanna, you must explore a hostile environment and unravel the clues that lead to a lost Maya civilization.
We’re proud to serve an amazing community. You help shape the development of the engine, make awesome games with it, and support each other on various projects. From programmers to artists, designers, and so many of you who use and contribute towards our tech in so many ways, there cannot be a more talented, friendly, or awesome game dev community out there.
