We’ve updated the CRYENGINE Launcher to version 1.10.0. Check out what’s new!

CRYENGINE Launcher version 1.10.0 is live now. You can check out the full list of changes here. We have made these changes in conjunction with your feedback to make your CRYENGINE workflow quicker and easier, and we’ve picked out a couple of highlights below.

Highlights:

Download an Engine Without Creating a Project First

As requested by the CRYENGINE community, you are now able to download each engine completely without needing to create a project first. This feature allows you to install and uninstall engine versions without having to create projects you don’t need.

New “Pin to Dashboard” Feature

The new “Pin to Dashboard” function means you can add a shortcut for your engines on the dashboard, eliminating the need to navigate from “Library” to “My Engines” and making the process quicker. This function will be especially useful for users that create a lot of projects, for instance, if you’re making tutorials or performing QA.

Preparations were also made in this version of the Launcher to aid the integration of the project workflow into the Sandbox editor, something you may have noticed on the CRYENGINE Roadmap for 5.6.
