Downloading

Once the download is complete, open CRYENGINE_Launcher.exe and follow the installation steps. Create an account if you don't have one already so you can log in to the CRYENGINE launcher right away.

The latest engine version can be downloaded from the launcher dashboard. If you need a specific engine version you can go to the Engines view, click the Add button and select a version. Advanced users may also want to install additional dependencies. For more details visit our documentation.

For CRYENGINE 5.6 and above you can create projects in the Sandbox. Projects can otherwise be created from the Projects view by clicking the Add button, or from the Engines view by clicking on an installed engine to open the menu and select Create new project.
