The GameVolume entity was created to give entity-type controls to shapes/volumes and to offer a simple approach of multiple options within one, expandable entity.
A perfect use example of this new system was the need to use Water Volumes in flow graph. Now that you can create a Water Volume through this entity, you expose never-before available abilities, such as moving an entire water volume, large or small.
You can find the GameVolume entity under "GameCustom" in the RollupBar. By default, this entity uses a few common parameters:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
DisplayFilled | Just for visibility in the editor this option defines if the area should be rendered as filled or not. |
Closed | Sets if the area should be closed or if it should be just a line. |
VolumeClass | Here you define which type of volume you wish the entity to be:
