Overview

You can select sequence edges which are not connected but on the opposite side to each other continues along a face loop or you can also select serial connected quad faces in a direction which is perpendicular to the direction which the selected two faces set.

How to Use

Edge Ring Selection

Select an edge or edges and click "Ring" button in "Select and Hide" group.

The left image is showing a selected edges or selected edges and the right images is the results after clicking "Ring" button.

Face Ring Selection(Available from CryENGINE 3.8.1)

Select more than two faces as follows and click "Ring" button.
The left image show the selected faces and the right image show the result of the ring selection from the selected faces.
