This tool is used for inverting the selection states of the faces. Namely the selected faces will be unselected and the unselected faces will be selected after applying this tool.

How to Use

Select faces which you want to invert.
Press the "Invert" button. As follows the previous selected faces has become unselected but the unselected faces previously has become selected.
